Care and installation
- How to measure: Measure the table's length and width. For a round table, use its diameter.
- Starting range: A round fixture often feels balanced at about one-half to two-thirds of the table width. A linear fixture can begin at one-half to two-thirds of the table length.
- Placement: Center the light over the table, not necessarily the room. Keep the fixture within the table footprint and visually clear of seated sight lines.
- Clearance: Start 30-36 inches above the tabletop. With ceilings above 8 feet, raise the fixture only as needed to keep the room open and the light connected to the table.
- Measure: Tabletop to lowest point
- Start: 30-36 in
- Align: Center on the table
- Formula: Length + width (ft)
- Clear path: 7 ft minimum
- End offset: About 1/2 spacing
- Sconce center: 65-70 in AFF
- Mirror gap: About 3-6 in
This pendant light transforms linen into a clean, architectural silhouette. The broad conical shade creates a calm horizontal presence, while the softly textured surface filters light for a warm and inviting atmosphere. A slim black suspension cord provides subtle modern contrast without distracting from the organic character of the shade. Available in two sizes, it makes an understated focal point above dining tables, kitchen islands, seating areas and bedroom spaces. The fabric shade gently diffuses light for a softer, more comfortable atmosphere.
Choosing a size
Pendants over a table sit 75–85 cm above the surface and measure about half its width. Wall lights sit 150–165 cm from the floor, or shoulder height beside a bed. Flush ceiling fixtures want roughly 5 cm of diameter for every 30 cm of room width. Every product page lists the fixture's own dimensions.
Bulbs and light quality
Unless stated otherwise, bulbs are not included so you can choose the light you want. For living spaces we recommend 2700K warm white; 3000K suits kitchens and workspaces. Check the socket type and maximum wattage in the specifications.
Hardwired or plug-in
Hardwired fixtures connect directly to your ceiling or wall supply and should be fitted by a qualified electrician. Plug-in pieces need only a socket. The power source is listed in the specifications on every product.
Light shapes a room long before furniture does. We select pieces that hold their own by day and do quiet work after dark.
